In the industrial city of Kochi, a man named Tiwari is proud to be working at a factory.
“It’s great job, I can’t complain,” Tiwaris wife, Anjali, said in a phone interview.
Tiwiri works in the factory where he made outdoor lights for more than 20 years.
Tiwari works at a company that makes outdoor lights.
He said he was lucky to get a job in the middle of the night when his wife and child were sleeping.
“I’ve been working in a similar factory here for three years now,” Tiyaris wife said.
“I was told by the company management that I could not leave until the lights are turned on.
I told them that I would like to work till dawn.
It’s a good job.”
In the factory, Tiwiris wife said the factory manager had told her to go to the toilet and clean the area around her.
Tiyari said he did not get to do any work during the day, and that he only took the toilet breaks during the night.
It is not clear what Tiwiras wife and children work at, but the factory is in the vicinity of a large city.
Tivas owner, Mihir Kumar, said he does not have a precise location, but he said that the company has a large production line.
“It is our factory, it’s an office, we have two other plants that produce light bulbs for other manufacturers,” he said.
Kumar, who lives in Kolkata, said that he had invested heavily in the building.
“We paid a huge sum to buy the building,” he told The Times.
“The factory has a very good quality.
We have a lot of customers.”
In November, Tiyarar had asked his wife to get rid of the house.
“This is not the time to keep the house,” he wrote on his blog.
“Our son and I have moved out, but I don’t want to sell my house.”
He had also asked her to buy a house with a good quality, but she told him that he could not sell her house.
“I have a good life.
If I sold my house, I would not be able to afford a house.
If you sell your house, you don’t have a future,” he added.
Mihir said that his family had lived in the house for 10 years.
“My son lives in another place.
I want to have my son live in the same place,” he recalled.
According to Tiyiris son, Tivasi, the factory has an annual turnover of over Rs 1,000 crore.
The company has been making outdoor lights since the 1960s, when it was the first company to manufacture lights in India.
In the 1960’s, a factory was built in Kerala, which was then the largest producer of lamps in the country.
Today, it has factories in Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
In the last two years, the company had increased its output by more than 1,500 lights per day.
When the factory closed, the management was given a green signal, but no one came forward to take the responsibility of running the factory.
On December 6, 2017, Tiiyar wrote on Facebook, “The company is doing well.
We are doing good.
We want to take it to another phase.
It is a great time to be alive.
But it is a time of sadness.”
The factory owner said that after the factory’s closure, Tijari was given the option of selling his house or renting a room in another building.
He said that they had rented a room for a month.
“Now, we are in a position to sell our house.
My son has given me the option to sell the house if we decide to sell it,” he explained.
The factory manager did not return calls for comment.
Earlier this month, the Maharashtra government had imposed a tax of Rs 1.9 lakh on outdoor lighting, a move that prompted protests in Kerala.
