A woman who was shopping with her daughter in the busy CBD last night has reported a fire alarm going off.

“We’re all pretty shocked,” she said.
“I’m quite traumatised at the moment.”
There were a lot of lights, I don’t know if it’s a fire or something.
“The woman said the light went out just before she left her daughter, aged seven.”
She was on the floor, she was crying, it was horrific,” she told 7.30.”
It’s scary to think there’s fire and smoke and people running everywhere, it’s really scary.
“The fire has now extinguished, and the woman has been taken to Brisbane Children’s Hospital for treatment.
