The new Smart light switch is designed to be more than a novelty accessory: it is designed, after all, to make light more efficient.
It is a new kind of light bulb that uses a light sensor, a computer chip and a microchip to control a light bulb, to give a bright light.
The sensor detects the color of light, then sends a signal to the bulb’s processor, which then converts the signal into electricity and sends it to a power source.
The chip uses that electricity to turn on the bulb.
“This is really a revolutionary technology,” said Andrew Haus, a senior fellow at the Institute for Energy Research.
The new light switch has a light output of up to 200 lumens, about the same as a single incandescent bulb.
But this is far from the only way of making light more efficiently, according to the authors of the study.
“We have developed a light switch that works with light,” said study co-author Hilde Lauterborn.
“It can be made with different materials and the light output can be reduced by as much as 50 percent.
And that’s a very significant reduction.”
The light switch could also be used in other industries, like construction and farming, Haus said.
The light switches can also be sold for less than a dollar.
Lautterborn is a co-founder of the Lighting Research Group, a company that is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which specialises in building and testing LED light bulbs.
It was started by the founder of LED light bulb manufacturer LG and its founder, Hilde Lindahl, who is now the president of the Light Research Group.
They have been working together for many years, Lauterting said.
“LG has been in this industry for almost 60 years,” she said.
A light switch for the elderly The research group says the new light switches are better than previous products because they use microchips instead of light sensors, which can be easily swapped out for newer, better technology.
The microchipping chip is an important step, because it allows the bulbs to be switched quickly without touching the light sensor.
This could be useful for factories and other industries that require workers to turn lights on and off quickly.
Light switches could also have a role in lighting up the bedroom, where many people spend their days, said Lautering.
“In our studies, we’ve seen that elderly people often spend more time outdoors than other people,” she told Al Jazeera.
“They’re spending a lot of time outdoors, so it’s possible that their homes could become brighter, too.”
Haus says the light switch can be used for lighting up bedrooms, where people spend most of their time.
Lauda said this is important because people spend a lot more time in the house than other kinds of homes.
“People spend a little bit more time than other houses in a home because they spend so much time outdoors,” she explained.
“So, light switches could be really useful for people who spend a large amount of time outside.”
Hauterberg said the researchers are working on making a light source for lighting candles and other light fixtures.
“I’m pretty optimistic about this because I think there are still a lot things that need to be done to get this technology to work,” he said.
