When Christmas lights go up: A timeline of the most popular Christmas lights

At 6 p.m.

EST on Dec. 25, 2017, a Christmas light installation will begin in Los Angeles.

It will be followed by a series of festive events, including live entertainment and more than 1,000 festive decorations.

On Jan. 6, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art will open its new museum in the neighborhood of Hollywood.

The museum will be open for the first time on Dec, 24.

And on Jan. 1, the city of Los Angeles will open the new museum on the historic Wilshire Boulevard in Inglewood.

This will be the first new museum to open in Los Angels for decades.
